Secret Santa

Another name for a white elephant gift-exchange party is Secret Santa.  Secret Santa is a game where all participants receive a gift but they don’t know who gave them the gift.  Each participant draws a name from a hat and that is who they will buy a gift for.  Sometimes the participant can submit a short wish list and a monetary limit may be set.  When time for the gift exchange, all gifts are placed on a table or around a tree and each gift is labeled with only the recipient’s name, so each person has a secret Santa.
